    Hi guys,

    I have a PAL VHS tape from friends abroad. Can I use my
    NTSC Sony miniDV camcorder to capture this to my PC
    so that I can make a SVCD out of this data ??

    What equipment do I need to do this ? I am looking for
    a cheap solution as I don't deal with PAL tapes often.

    you will need a PAL vhs player first .. or take it to a conversion place where its pretty cheap to have them convert it to ntsc ... though the more you pay , the better the quality (generaly speaking)
