  1. Hi there,

I have a movie (VCD - dat file) which spans 4 CD's. Now i can put them all in 3 Cd's so i used VCDgear to convert the dat file to mpg file & used TMPGEnc to merge all the disks into one diisk & then cut it into 3 disks. The problem is when I merge the 4 MPGs it gives me an error saying that disk3.mpg is not a valid MPG file. It does not give me an error with the other 3 files.

can anybody nelp me & let me know what top do

  2. Hi i think i know the movie u r talking about u will need to reencode the file in tmpgenc as the header must be different on the mpg that will not merge. Get the info on the other mpegs and make sure it matches the details in the file u can't get to merge. BBmpeg gives u good detail when u load a file into it. U may have alot of trouble making it work i did when i tried doing it with a 4 file svcd i tried to merge. A reencode did my trick anyhow. Good luck.
