Hello everyone, i am still somewhat new but do frequent this site everyday and would like to thank everyone for there help, especially Sefy. My question is, after i have created my mpeg with Tmpgenc Plus, i am ready to burn. I am using the latest version of Nero and using 99 minute cdr's due to the length of my mpeg. My dvd/cdrw burner does support overburn, but when i try to burn with nero, i keep getting a buffer underun error. My operating system is XP professional and I was curious if because i have not multiplexed my movie before burning it if that could be the cause. I am encoding at 1400 kbs using 2 pass vbr. When i multiplex this, what should the setting be.
video cd?video cd(nonstandard)? i have even slowed the burn down from 8x to 4x and am still getting underrun errors at about 4% into the burn.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm glad to have been of help to you if I have
regarding your buffer problem, has it occoured to you on any other OS before ? also, do you try to burn directly, or do you create an image first ?
do you have anything running when you burn ?
have you tried TSCV or VCDEasy with CDRDao instead ?Email me for faster replies!

slp1998ss: Sefy hit the nail on the head once again...I use to have the same problem with nero....one day it worked just fine burning xVCD's, the next day and thereafter for some unknown reason BUFFER UNDERUN all the time. The best thing I ever did was get VCDEasy w/cdrdao. It's free, fast, burns from a saveable, potable image that other CD Burning software can use, has an adjustable memory buffer, make just the image to burn from later, all kinds of neat stuff....you can even rip previously made VCD's in case you want to re-do them with a different template from TMPEG. I have never regretted deleting NERO from my hard drive as it was always fickle, slow, and untrustworthy. You can get VCDEasy in the tools section on the left hand side of the screen

D3LtAg3Ko, I disagree about Nero, i use it every day for my regular Data and Audio and MP3 burning, and it's by far the best program in the market.
for VCD/SVCD Authoring, i strongly suggest using a software specificly developed for that cause.Email me for faster replies!
