Ok, this is what you do. I just tried it with the file you were writing about, to make sure. I figured everybody here could use this info.
1. (IE browser) Right-click to save "...murderdolls.qtl"
2. Open up the .qtl in a text editor (e.g. Notepad). Near the top you'll see the URL for the actual QT movie "...murderdolls001.mov". Select that text and copy to clipboard.
3. In address line of browser paste in the text clipping. Hit enter and wait for the movie to download IN FULL. (You can watch it while it's downloading, but you can't save it till it's done.)
4. When it's done downloading, right-click to "Save as Quicktime Movie".
5. Now you can do what you would normally do with your Qt files-convert to VCD/DivX, etc.BTW, this file is 320x240, uses On2VP3 vidcodec, and MP3 audcodec. It's 18MB, so it'll take a while to DL, unless you got DSL or faster.
This qtl format is alot like asx or ram, it's just a metafile/pointer.
Have fun!
