Ok, first what's the framerate on which you encode it because 23.97 fps gives serious problems, and was it on a cd-rw because I had a faulty cdrw and had the same same problems you described.If your frame rate is encoded on 23.97 fps try re-encode it on pal(25) or ntsc (29.97).
