Hi, real newbie here. i'm trying to create a vcd from an avi file. everything goes okay using nero express except when it comes to encoding. i left it overnight and it still only had encoded 21% of the information. is it supposed to take that long?
any help would be great.

manufan7,
you would be better off encoding with tmpgenc. See the guides on the
left hand side.
At 500Mhz things will still be slow. I have a 1000Mhz machine
and it is also too slow. I'm waiting for the new dual pentium's
to come out at rev 1.1 -
thanks for getting back.next problem...everyone of the avi's i've got give me an unsupported format error in tmpgenc.
help again? -
