It gives "file reallocation "errors or file not even number size etc.SO....

I use the DVD UDF/ISO (create VIDEI?AUDIO_TS etc ) and it works....

All you need to copy a DVD is the latest version of nero and smartripper.

Download smartripper and launch It.Once It reads the DVD and goes to the next screen, select backup, which shows all the files contained on the DVD.Once you select the target at the bottom to specify where you'll save too,the start tab will show up afterwards.Press start to begin ripping. It should copy the DVD into a file in whereever you wanted It saved.

Then once copied, start nero up,select DVD-video.Then click new and locate the file where the DVD was copied.Open It up and highlight everything in the folder, then drag It all to the red Video_TS folder.Leave the audio one alone. Then all you do is open the write dialog box up and click write. It should make a backup of the DVD,unless It's one that's bigger than 4.7GB.

  6. I am using the latest version of NERO.
The problems only come when the film is over 4.7gig and I have to use IFO editor to either split discs or remove Audio bits.
I have only had a problem with the latest verion of NERO 5.5.9

    "DVDvideo files reallocation started
File size is not of a logical block size (2 kb)
    DVD video files reallocation failed"

IS THERE A PROBLEM USING DVD UDF/ISO for Dvd video nurning??????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????? (which is the only way I can get it to burn)

  7. if you can only use DVD UDF / ISO due to you editing vob files with ifo edit, then it should work. I used to burn my vob files using the DVD UDF/ ISO selection until 558x builds came out with the option of DVD Video. The older UDF / ISO burns work fine on my 3 dvd players.
