DV to Mpeg2 to dvd, anyone?

I have some home videos teken with my digital8 camera, i'd like to transfer the video to mpeg2 and then to dvd.

I'm using dvdit!, can i transfer video direcly from my camera to DVDit?

You could make use of Adobe Premiere to capture your DV into AVI format through firewire. Then you could frame serve to 3rd party software such as TMPGenc or CCE by using Premiere Video Server and encoded it in MPEG2 format. Now, you could import to your DVDit to create DVD.

Another way of doing it is to install ligos LSX pulgin for adobe premiere and straight away encoder to MPEG2 format.
