it wz a real hassle for me to burn a vcd, then go over to a friend's house to dub it to a tape so i can play it since my DVD player didn't support CDR. but then i tried burning it to CDRW, and it worked (a lotta of u prolly already noe this), but it doesn't work all the time. i found that if u 'warm up' ur DVD player 1st, it has a better chance of playin, like leave ur DVD player on after playing a working dVD, then after a while, put in ur CDRW, it might still say 'no disc', just eject it and try again. it works for me, jus thought i'd share
