    I know that this sounds crazy, anyway my problem is this:

    I´ve downloaded some movies, and the problem is that they are separated on 2 cds on vcd.

    and I need to use that movie in an personal video so, I want to edit it...
    so.. I don´t know how to do it.

    well, I need this ASAP.
    so any reply will be great..

    Open that VCD "MPEGAV" directory, find that "dat" file. Copy it to your hard drive, add that ".mpg" extension to that puppy, load it into Virtual Dub, save it under your favorite filters and format, and voila! Instant .avi file!
