  1. Hi guys,

I'm new here so please help me. I turned 17 yesterday and got a dvd player. As the player support (S)vcd, i decided to create my own. I will tell now what my exact plans are and i am asking you guys to help create the vcd i want.
I want to create a vcd with 4 Dragonball Z episodes, all around 18-20 minutes long. The're in .avi format, don't know if they are encoded in divx. My plan is the following:

I'm doing it with a friend, so i want the vcd to first show the logos of me and my friend, preferably two movies with background music(please tell me how to make them). Then i want a sort of an intro movie with tells that you are watching a dbz cd with episode 248-251 on it, also with background picture & music. After that i want the main menu with the name of the four episodes as selection with a picture of the episode before the episode's name. I would like that the menu also has background music (if possible) and a still background picture. Finally i want to add the four episodes to the vcd so that you can watch them. If possible i would also like an extra menu option with credits.

I have the following programs already installed on my comp:

-Cdrwin, for burning the .bin files
    -TMPGenc
    -Nero 5.5+
    -VCDeasy
    -AviChop

Please tell me how i can create all of this, which programs i need to do this and maybe some helpful tips for the future. Thanks in advance,

    Phoenix4

Look in the how to guides located on the left hand side of the page. I'm not trying to be a smart ass but much of what your looking for you'll find there.

    Happy Birthday

You have to learn a little more, because even if you were given a step by step guide, you would probably not understand it all.

But to start you off, you need to convert those AVI's into Mpeg1 VCD files. Best use TMPGEnc for that, which you should "load" a PAL or NTSC template. Once you have converted them your ready to use them on a VCD. Now you can move on to the other things
