I am having trouble extracting the audio from Behind Enemy Lines Region 1. I use Smartripper 2.41 to rip the movie to the Hard Drive. The VOB’s play fine on my computer. Then I use dvd2avi 1.76. When I start the program it runs very fast and indicates audio as DTS for channel 1. When it finishes, all I have is the d2v file. All of the other channels indicate no audio and only produce the d2v file. I tried to separate the streams in Smartripper with no luck either. I have tried this on both my laptop and home computer with no luck. Any advice on my backup would be greatly appreciated.

Try DVD Dycrypter. Consensus is that it is better than SmartRipper.
I use it along with DVD2AVI and TMPG with great results. -
I solved my problem.
After more testing I found that the audio stream I needed said X81 but was really X82. Once I matched the settings in Smartripper and DVD2AVI the sound was restored.
