  2. 1. Get a firewire card (if you don't have it yet). Better if you can get a card with a software. StudioDV is good for starters.
    2. Get TMPGENC (in TOOLS). You'll need to create MPEG2 out of your DV-AVI files.
    3. From this point on, it really depends on what your target output is. So you might want to check the 'HOW TO' on the left (Capture, Convert, etc).

  3. Yeah. This is my problem too. I made many SVCD, VCD many times from my DV Camera with no problem.
But this time I wanna try to make those DV avi files to DVD. I have no problem to convert it to mpeg2 using TMPGENC. But those files are mpg files, NERO 5.582 does not like it, it say that those files are not DVD compliance.
Since I noticed that DVD files are VOB. How do I create VOB files from my mpg2 files that I created using TMPGENC?
I followed the instruction here in this forum using TMPGENC to de-multiplex those mpeg2 files. But it creates .mp2 & .m2v files instead of .vob files.
    Please HELP !!

  4. You need a DVD Authoring software (Ulead DVD Movie Factory, DVD-It, etc).
