  1. Hi,

I am trying to use Ulead DVD Workshop (or the Ulead DVD Powertools as the program is called in Germany) with the very good and useful guide "How to put SVCD MPEG2 video on a DVDR" and the one for VCDs as available here on the site.

I successfully used SpruceUp for creating DVDs and have no problems at all doing it with that program.

But when it comes to Ulead DVD Workshop I can't get the audio stream connected to the video stream and therefore my DVD would lack the sound.

Who can describe what I have to do to get both files, the video .m2v (or .m1v) and the audio .mpa, into Ulead DVD Workshop and burn a DVD with that files???

Any help would be appreciated as I really like the program for authoring and capturing and would like to use it for my (S)VCD files, too.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lars

  4. Well, renaming the .m2v or .m1v files simply to .mpv helps for that point (yes, it is that simple) but I still don't know how to get the audio connected to the video...

  5. I use .mpg files that are encoded @ 48khz with tmpgenc using the DVD template or ATI MMC 7.7 recordings 720x480 @48 khz. Try the tmpgenc multiplex tool or get 48khz source files...

  6. I already have the source files converted to 48 khz but they are in a seperate file. I want to use them as they are and not multiplex them with the video again...

Are you saying that I MUST multiplex both files to one .mpg file again to use them with DVD WKS?

  7. I have not been able to load files that are not combined. Let us know if you find a way.

  8. I agree DWS will not handle demuxed files. You also must have the audio in mp2 format whn you multiplex learnt this the hard way. If its not it comes out the other side with no sound.
