Questions about Sony DVP NS-305.

I Bought a Samsung M105 DVD player then i changed it at the second day of use with a Sony DVP-NS305 coz the sony player support more features than the Samsung player(CD-R,CD-RW,DVD-R,DVD-RW,MP3) and it has a 192KHZ Audio DAC which make it superb at CD playback quality,but i noticed it's image quality is not as sharp as Samsung player but am new to DVD players so users with experiance in DVD players and Used or watch the Sony NS305 Plz tell me how much good the image and Audio quality of this player compared to other DVD players!

the problem is that the colors of the sony players doesn't seem bright and colorful and sharp as the samsung player it looks as if it's colors from old movie (testing using walt disney movie "Flubber") ,& the colors seems dark & i aslo noticed that there is artifacts in black dark areas that appear in the movie (Like the sky at night)!!!!!!!!!

I also want to know from u guys how can i define the picture quality of a certain player ? i mean what to look for to judge if this player have a good or bad IQ?

i bought the sony ns305 before 2 weeks.. i believe it has very nice display and sound quality. at least i 'm happy about those ones...

the thing that's annoy me is that doesn't play mp3 random...!!!!!

also i don't know how to region free this player???????

anyway i'm very happy about this player and the price i bought it...
