I've tried making two DVD-R's and two DVD-RW's of "The Incredible Melting Man" (yeah, I know the movie's a piece of crap but cheesy sci-fi is a guilty pleasure and this is one of the cheesiest ever). All four copies lock up in both my DVD players in the exact same spot. The picture freezes for four seconds, while the time counter on the player continues to count. Then the movie picks back up again.
I've done this movie to three different ISO images and burned four different discs. They all lock up in the same spot.
The original MPEG2 file (recorded with my ReplayTV in high quality from The Movie Channel last week) does NOT freeze in this spot.
Authoring software is Ulead DVD Workshop 1.2, burner is Pioneer DVR-104. Players are a brand new Toshiba SD-K700 and an ancient Sony DVP-S7000 (the Sony shows the picture but doesn't play any audio). Anyway, all four discs stick in the same spot on both players.
Any ideas on what's going on here? Thanks....
