    Hi:
I'm new at this, so please bear with me.

I just made a 30 minute short film, and I've followed all the instructions on how to make a VCD. It worked well, the VCD I've made successfully plays on the computer with PowerDVD. The software recognizes as a VCD. But when I take the VCD and play it on my DVD/VCD player, the player doesn't even recognize the format and ejects the CD. What should I do?

  2. Hi,

What program did you use to burn the VCD ???

What you can try is either burn it on a different color CDR, or try a CDRW.

  4. What player do you own? Some players won't touch CDRs!

    Hi, y'all~~

I just found out from the DVD player compatibility list that my player doesn't read CD-R's. I burned my movie on a CD-RW, and it works now~~

    Thanks, y'all!!!
