I am looking for some good online help or a nice pdf book or manuals for any of the major dvd authoring software..

I am trying to get avi/divx and avi captured with sony vaio into the proper format but I keep getting wierd error messages such as file can only be 183,000 yours is 183,388 or could not complete muxing..

I have spent days trying to do this right with the vcdhelp tuts and I just must be missing something.
