Saw an ad about a program called dvd-squeeze. What is this? Has anyone tried it. Is it a joke?

Then how can they say that it plays on your home dvd player?
That isn't possible with divx, is it?

complained that dvd-squeeze was stolen from his company and selling with new name. I do not remember link, but you can try to search Yahoo
    on "dvd-squeeze".

It seems like a legit product now. Has it's own web site and info. I'd be interested in "any" reviews or opinions about this product. Look at
    www.dvdsqueeze.com

    Thanks,

  5. I'll admit that I bought this garbage, and that was unfortunately before I found this website.
All it is just TMPGE, smartripper, divx flask, and some more apps that you can find the links here to download for free. Basically all you get extra is it comes with a menu to select these programs from. Plus it wasn't even the most updated TMPGE.
I wasted my money like a sucker on this. As the saying goes, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. Don't be a sucker.
Now maybe they have changed, but I'll bet you will get all the same stuff you can figure out here for free.

Here we go again .....another bull$shit scam.

The tools to rip/encode mpeg2 (DVD) to either mpeg1 (VCD) or mpeg4 Divx are free and available for download at this site and a few others such as divx digest
    http://www.divx-digest.com/

Anyone stupid enough to part with their money for this crap should just send it my way, i only ask for 50% of what they are stealing from you .........

DVD on a CD without any loss of quality .... ahem 'cough , cough' bullshit any decrease in bitrate or codec (lesser than mpeg2) WILL result in lesser quality.

Available in 14 languages . It appears you can get ripped off in any language.
