apex 3201: V1_45 1A28 vs. the LT21 firmware

i purchased the apex 3201 from sears the other day. i understand from the other posts the 1A28 doesn't have any firmware upgrades. most of the people seem to have the LT21 firmware. now, does this one too suffers on the list of dvds (mentioned at the nerd-out forums) the other one suffers.

also any comments on whether i should keep it or return it and get a 1500 or 1100W would be appreciated.

I've had three different Apex models,AD-600,AD-500W,and AD-1100W. One was worse than the other. I would suggest you return the 3201 and buy a Daewoo DVD-5800($90.) or a Sampo DVE612($100.) Both are far better players. The Daewoo can be easily hacked to make it macro/region free,the Sampo DVE612 is too new for a hack but I'm sure one will come.
