I'm trying to capture from VHS. I can't get the ASUS capture driver to work under XP so I'm capturing in ME, rebooting and editing in XP.
Problem is the ASUS driver fro ME is only capturing 2GB at a time.
Anybody know why this might be and if I can do anything about it? Thanks.[/quote]

AVI under fat32( what ME uses ) max's out at 2 Gb, MPEG under fat32 is 4 GB, in NTFS ( NT4, Win200 and XP )you can go bigger.

Just format to NTFS system. It is not supposed to mess with any thing you already have on your system. Then capture in xp is only limited by your HD space.

To capture under Windows XP get the WDM capture drivers from nvidia and digitalVCR 2.2 from asus.

Timelord,
you capture under ME or 98SE? as it been a while since I did anything video wise under either OS, but those fat32 size limits for AVI's were the ones I recall.
