  1. im sure this has been answered a thousand times so i appologise.

    can anyone tell me what i need to do to rip the matrix to vcd properly?

    im sure u know what i mean with the scenes jumping about and stuff

  2. what sofware are you using? dvd2avi for creating the .dv file? tmpgenc to create the vcd? in dvd2avi, make sure you have forced film set. also, if everything is correct. try using the de-interlace filter in tmpgenc to see if this helps, i just doubt the matrix would not be progressive.

  3. I ripped it successfully using dup-dvd, then burnt it succesfully using video pack

    Since the Matrix is a multi-angle DVD, you need to rip with a IFO parsing ripper (don't ask me which ones to use, I leave it to YOU to research this). Or, you can rip the disk using "FILE MODE" and use IFOEdit to remove SEAMLESS BRANCHING. Guides for this are available.

    And, you are correct... This has been asked thousands of times.
