I finally downloaded my first complete file from mirc, and now I don't know what to do with it. I am used to encoding files like avi andivx, and this is the first time i have ever had a file like this. I think it is a dat, because it has the same icon as dat files. but the type of extension is "ts." What is this? I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do from this point. I am so anxious to see what I have!

    thanks,

  2. Nero supports .dat files so if it is a dat file you should be able to burn it right now the way it is....

Actually, thanks to the ops on #vcdhelp on dalnet, I got my answer and it was the right one. All I did was rename the file and add an .avi instead of that wierd .ts shit, and I was good to go. The movie turned out pretty cool too! Thanks again LIQUID 217!
