  1. I have music videos that are mpeg and the only thing that works pretty good is nero bruner, but it always has to rencode. I have another decent program called videopack 5 by roxio. I don't know how to burn multiple items in the videopack 5 because I get a you haven't defined connection with elements. Does anyone have this progam. If so could you tell me how to record mutiple things on this. Also if this doesn't work, whats a good program that doesn't have to rencode it and take hours.

  2. If you want to create a standard vcd and the mpeg files are'nt vcd compliant then you have to reencode them to make them compliant. Don't use nero to do this though use TMPGEnc. You can however make a noncompliant VCD, which is known as an XVCD. To do this, when nero comes up with the compliancy warning just ignore it and burn the mpegs as they are. Check with the DVD compatability list that your DVD player will play XVCD.

Make a new VCD with Roxio VP5, drop yall of our .mpg's in the list on the left, one by one until they are all there. You may notice different numbers shown, 1,2,3 etc, if you leave them like that, then you can select which track to play, if you just want them all to play one after another, pick up number 2 and move you mouse to the left (Almost out of the screen) and drop it, you will now see the number disappear.

Do the same to them all until there are no numbers shown, and they all seam to be joined in one line.

Now click the routing button, then click the first .mpg in the list. You will see lines going in and out, just click the little boxes and drag to the .mpg below and release, do the same for all the lines in the first movie.

When all the lines in the first movie are now going to the second movie, now click the second movie and drag all the lines to the third.

Keep going down the list until you reach the bottom, if you want the last one to play, then loop back to the start, just drag the last lines to the very first one in the list. If you want the DVD to stop after the last one has played, just click the lines and drag to the center, this makes them loop back on themselves.

When you drop any of the .mpg's and you get a warning, its best to load that .mpg into TMPGEnc with a VCD template and re-encode, it wont take very long on short clips. That makes it fully compliant for VP5
