  1. Ok, I finally got my VCD made using the one cd method. I used the Nero demo. I made it at 16 speed. I'm playing the video now but the sound has chirps and is skipping. It isn't out of sync. The video plays perfectly sometimes but it gets jerky and starts breaking apart sometimes, basically same as audio. Do I need to slow the speed down some when making the vcd?

Yep try slow down the speed and if that doesnt help you could try with another cdr/w media.

  3. Ok, thanks for the quick reply. I've slowed it down to 8 speed 1200kb/s. I'll see if that helps.

  4. Well, slowing it down didn't have any affect on it all. I'll try the different media. I was using TDK 80min/700mb 40x compatiable.

  5. I tried using cdrw but that didn't work also. I got the same result. I'm wondering if it has something to do with using the one cd method. I have two files about 1hr 30 mins a piece. It's Lord of the Rings. I really don't want to make 4 cd's for this movie but it looks as if I'm going to have to. Cause I even made about a 5 min. encode clip of the first file. I played it on my aiwa dvd player and got the same crappy results.

what program are you using to encode the VCD? What bitrate are you using? Sounds like your attempting to put an impossibly high amount of time on the VCD.

  8. wulf109, I think your right. I did a test of the Lord of the rings without using the one cd method. I did about a 20 mins encoded part. I played the vcd and it worked perfectly. I'm just going to join the two files the break it down into three cd's. I'm using TMPGEnc to encode.
