Hi everyone,
I recently converted a DivX file to SVCD using Tmpgenc's wizard. I then burnt this as SVCD in Nero 5.5, and when I tried to play it on my DVD player (Pioneer DV-535) all I get is the sound and a black screen. When I try to open the MPG file on computer, I get sound but no picture in Windows Media Player, and in WinDVD I get the following error message: "Create Overlay failed. Please lower your screen resolution or color depth and try again"
Please help me correct this problem
Thanks
Wayne

Have you tried doing this, perhaps going down to around 800x600 pixels & 8/16 bits? What is your graphics card, how much RAM does it have? Are you using it's latest drivers? Do you have DirectX 8.1 installed? What is your operating system? Is this an integrated video chipset, sharing memory with your system? What are your other system specifications - PROCESSOR, RAM, HD space available/total, etc.
HUN-YA!
