  1. Hi. Im trying to rip my DVD w/ smart ripper and was successful in getting all the VOB Files. The problem I'm having is that there is no wav file after using DVD2AVI 1.74ver. There is a d2V file.

I've used dvd2AVI for almost a year and have only encountered this problem w/ this particular movie. I did not change any settings.

    Any suggestions/solution to my problem.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. I just recently had the same problem with "From Hell". I ripped it as usual, ran it through DVD2AVI as usual. I got several AC3 files, one .dts file, but no wave. Why is that?

  4. I had the same problem with the extras on Space Cowboys. In the end I just loaded the vob file directly into TMPGenc and converted it from there. It worked fine, although I had to de-interlace in TMPGenc. It seems that these files are from TV shows and don't have AC3 sound on them in the first place. Therfore DVD2AVI just ignores them.

  5. Well, with help from another thread and some investigation, I found (on the doom site) HeadAC3he, a proggie that converts AC3 files to other formats, including .wav. Worked like a charm.

  6. I just ripped this movie and the same thing happened to me... I use CLad DVD and forgot to choose the correct AC3 file.. I had it on let all audio streams intact... Which it defaulted to the DTS and DVD2AVI could NOT process it. I re-ripped it and chose AC3 6 channel and it went all fine....

Hope that canhelp u out even thought the post is a bit old?
