  1. Anyone else use Durabrand? Have you EVER gotten a VCD to work? I bought a 100 pack at Wal-Mart... Should I continue using them, or pick up the lost art of Ultimate Frisbee?

I'm having a problem of my VCD's playing for 2 seconds and stopping. Is that a CD-R Probelm, CD-Writer Problem, or DVD player problem?

    Thanks.

If you burn these discs as a regular audio CD, will it play in the DVD player? If not, or if it has problems, it's probably the player having trouble with that brand, or more likely the player just doesn't like CD-R. I had an older Panasonic DVD player (Dec. 2000) that never could read a CD-R, but could read CD-RW with some coaxing. The same DVD player could read DVD-RW with multiple attempts to load the disc, but never could read DVD-R (cheap brands).

  3. I go through about 100 of 'em a month, and I have very, *very* few problems with them, with practically every coaster related to user error and not the media itself.

My GE 5803p plays 'em just fine. I'm a happy Durabrand customer.

Now if only Wallyworld would stop monopolistic, anti-union practices and pay its workers a living wage...

I have used them in my Panasonic RV41. But my in-laws sony won't play them at all.
May the force be with you.

Why would they when you fatten their bottom line anyway?

  6. Simple---anyone who knowingly works there deserves what they get.

Besides, I only want them to stop their "monopolistic, anti-union practices and pay [their] workers a living wage" so *I* can start doing the same.

    I WILL BE KING!
