DIVX to SVCD with TMPGENC

Heya folks:

Tried converting one divx to svcd according to your guide divx to svcd with tmpgenc

original is 23.976 fps but my output always ends up 29.97 fps. What am i doing wrong?

I select make svcd ntsc film (23.976) and choose 2 pass vbr 1200-min 2400-max with 1700 avg bitrate-file plays fine in media player though and says mpeg 2 but why the hell does it say 29.97 fps?

Also since i installed nimo codec pack virtual dub 1.410 doesnt open mpeg -2 files-says "mpeg import filter: pack synchronization error" - whats up with that?

Tmpenc Plus 2.56 evaluation version

Any suggestion?
