I'm trying to reencode an mpeg2 stream. I am converting a 16:9 720x480 to a 352x480 16:9 stream in Tmpeg. It completes sucessfully, I build the vob, burn and then play the dvd in my Apex-500w. The screen goes weird for a second and then begins to play. Once it starts playing only half of the screen is visible (the right half of the picture which appears to be at 16:9 is visible on the left half o the screen and the left half is cut off.) If you play the vob's on the computer they play fine and if I play it on my PS2 it plays fine. I've never had this problem before and was wondering if 352x480 at 16:9 is not a valid dvd resolution or is it that my Apex is just not playing it correctly?
Thanks.
