  1. i have a dvd burner and i am looking for opinions on the best software for around $50 that will allow me to convert video formats to each other and then the software will include dvd burning software. i used a tmpg free software off of this site which worked great for converting but now my current software does not recognize it to burn it to dvd. i am willing to pay so if there is a good software that converts formats and burns and even makes dvd backup discs please let me know thanks for any help with personal software experience

1 What DVD burning software do you use that does not recognize tmpge files.
2- Did you use tmpge mpeg2 during the trial period or did you accidently create an mpeg1 file and try to tell your software that its and mpeg 2.
    What msg are you getting?

A little more info please before you spend any more money. You must have received good software with your DVD burner.
