    Hi, I would like to know wich is the best-shipper DVD Writer in market, I will not want to expend more than $400.

    Any advice?

    If you want one now, buy either Pioneer DVR-104 for $250 or Ricoh RW5125A for $300.

    If you can wait for a few more weeks or a few more months, there will be some of the first 4x DVD-R and 4x DVD+R writers. They also feature faster CD-R and CD-RW recording speed and faster CD-ROM and DVD-ROM reading speed. With more buffer memory and completely new features as well.

    Before you invest in a DVD burner, I suggest you do some background research first. The two predominent technologies now are DVD-R/W and DVD+R/W. Each have their advantages and disadvantages.
