  1. I have been reading and trying to do the VCD header trick to play SVCD's in my DVD player.... AIWA XD-DV370. It can play VCD's with no problem, but will not play SVCD's, doesn't reconize the disk.

When I do the conversion that is laid out in a post here or the one listed on the website, it will play the SVCD, but it studders for a lack of better term.

Is there any suggestion for this or am I just stuck doing VCD video's?

    Thanks

I have also an AIWA 370. You are stuck on VCD's, as the aiwa cannot play disks faster than a total of 1375kbm (1150kb for the movie and 224kb for the audio part) speed, and that is standard VCD.

The aiwa does also not support a X-VCd with a total bitrate than standard...
