  3. Also make sure you have the latest version.. he just released a new version not to long ago which may solve your problem. Try a single pass vbr, and if that works then try a multipass (3 or 4).

  4. If you haven't already read it you might get some help from this thread on the DVD2SVCD basic forum: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=2e2adaef2ded318331dc088cf3745f4d&threadid=2283...ght=CCE+FREEZE

  5. Ive looked at all the help and can fin, i have increased the luminocity settings up by 5 and the dvd got up to 25% on my win98 machine and my Xp machine.

It was only today that i have found that each dvd has each frame encoded differntly - i would have thought like any cd, the digital data is identical from one to another - and apparently this is not the case. Sadly its the only dvd i own and its quite an odd one so i wont be able to borrow another from anywhere. Im currently encoding a longer film with TMPGenc via DVD2SVCD but was reulctant to as ive read that its not as good or as quick (the speed is painfully slow!) Ill have to try ripping a random dvd with the CCE settings i was having problems with - and this may show that it was a problematic DVD or CCE....?
