Hi folks,
I posted here a while back and asked if this was possible. One guy (DVation I think) said that he had done it - I reckon more people have now! Sure it is just a matter of transcoding the VOBs to the new size and using a form of IFOEdit (type-program!) to "tweak" the chapter points. If anyone has done this, can they post a guide? Please?!? Even some hints would help... Thanks,
PnaG.

basically u riip vob's((all of em)find the main movie
menus and such, play w/the vts sectors, save em in ur video_ts folder
strip out extra lang packs, trailers, and such.normally i noticed
movie under 2hrs no extra langs and subs will be under 4gigs
menu 200 mgs or better.......burned is0/udf in nero....
just transfer folder when u want ot burn or it might not
work.....had lots of problems trying to format dvd-rw's
in nero n such.........then got buy 25pack of cheap dollar discs.. -
Uh, yeah, but I can rip it no problem! The trouble is when you rip out all the stuff and it's STILL bigger that a DVD-R/DVD-RW. Then you need to transcode it to make it smaller, but the menus are screwed up. Anyone got any ideas?
