HP-8250i CD/RW won't write S-VCD?

Ok, It's an old cd rw, an HP-8250i. I tried burning an S-VCD mpeg using Roxio EZ Cd Creator and when I tried to add the mpg the application returned that the format was wrong. I cannot find anything on the web about what the unit will do, even the HP site.

Anyone know about this RW?

It is not your drive, but the software that is the problem. Try using NERO burning software. And also make sure that your mpg is within svcd specs.

Also try to uncheck the "Create standard compliant cd" in the NERO SVCD wizard.
