I'm new to this, but I have a couple of DVD movies that are a bit to big. I edited them both, the size now looks small enough, but when I try to burn them, it still shows they are to big. In fact, the same size as before. Is there something I'm missing? The size of the converted file is smaller, but when trying to burn them, they still say to big!

I'm using virtualDub, to compress the movie thats to big to fit on a DVD. After converting it, in Windows Explorer, it shows the converted file, as smaller. 665.824 KB. Before converting, it shows the size as 716.764 KB. But when trying to burn it to DVD, it still shows it as to big. Just as big as it was before. Both files play ok, but the smaller converted one will still not fit the DVD. It still show it as the same number of bytes to big.

I'm not sure how to explain it, in any other way. What could be the problem?

Both before, and after conversion it shows 6.69 GB oversize!
