You are converting from one highly destructive codec to anouther. What is the point?

Your gonna get one giant macroblock.

And the point was to take a live audio broadcast from a real player and then serve it as windows file for windows media players.
I can do this with two servers and two sound cards I am looking for a single server solution one sound card solution.
Thanks for the input but please keep your remarks to yourself.

I have not tried this yet, but I am pretty sure it will work. If you use a program like sound recorder (i use cool edit 2000) and then go to volume controls and switch it to record settings. Then select What-U-Hear (This may not be available on some cards, I have a SB Live and SB16, the SB16 does not have it) but Wave should work. Then use the recording software to record the sound in realtime while you play it in RealPlayer. Then just save it as a wave or mp3, then convert it to wma.
