can i burn a vcd with any freeware products?

I want to burn vcd's but all the burners software costs. Is there any freeware that will do what fireburner or other paid for software will do? i can burn avi's and mp3's but not vcd's. Why not? Perhaps I am missing something. I have created .bin files but can't burn Please help!!!!!!!

CDRDAO that comes with VCDEasy is free and can burn CUE/BIN images.

You might need to install/update your ASPI layer. You can either download the official Adaptec one or ForceASPI (from http://www.doom9.org ). People tend to have less problems with ForceASPI.

Otherwise, you could download the demo of CDRWin -- but you will be limited to burning at 1x.
