how do i play a downloaded mpeg on a dvd standalone

i have downloaded a film clip from the internet and would like to burn it onto a cd and play it on a standalone dvd player. i have nero 5.5. and need some tips on which standalone is best to buy and how to do the burning correctly? cheers

You need to read the guides and use the info on this web site (try the guides as they are good starting point)

If you have problems along the way then by all means post another question and I pretty much guarantee that somebody will know the answer (I might even know..) BTW - if you do post, you need to give exact details of your problem - ie 'you downloaded a file' - what file type is it ? for example.
