Hi Everyone.
I have a Pioneer DV-C302D player, and I recently moved to a different city. The player worked fine before I left. I packed it into a box with those little styrofoam S's and brought it with me. I let it sit in the box and didn't get around to unpacking it until about 2 weeks later, and when I did, I found out it had been sitting there upside down.I then set it up and turned it on and tried to play VCD's, DVD's, and audio CD's, and the player spit all of them out. It took the CD's in and sounded like it was trying to read it, but then it just spit it out. Has anyone had a similar problem or does anyone have any advice on possible problems? Someone told me the laser might have gone bad, but I think that is pretty expensive to fix. I'd like to consider cheaper solutions before I do that. Thanks in advance.

Hi
Have you ever noticed that when you touch those styrafoam S's that they stick to your hand?
That is because of static electricity.
The only thing i can think of is that perhaps the static electricity did something to mess up your DVD player.
You should probaly go exchange it or get a new one. Maybe you could take it to some repair shop to get a complete diagnosis before doing so.
Hope this helps. -
Thnx. Never though about that. Oh well. I'll probably just bring it to a repair shop and see what they can do.
