well, i really like watching VCD's on my PC for that fact that I can use headphones and enjoy the benefits of Dolby Headphone () but one thing i don't like is the poor quality of videos when played on PC (of course, it's better when watched on TV).
can you suggest anything to make it better? thanks!![]()

If you are watching full screen I can tell you why. You are stretching out the video to fill the screen. My mon is set to 800*600 that means a vcd 352*288 or about that is stretched out to fill. Your tv is set to that res by default. Thats why it looks so good. Play it in standard size on your PC and you will see it is identical to what your tv shows but smaller.
A computer monitor is a High Definition Tv by all means. Very high res. Its the same reason why tvs arent used as monitors, they have to comprssed the pixils, okay for video not text.
The only way you may help it is lower your res of your monitor, just res not color depth. Bring it down to like 640*480 if you can, the video is only stretch 200% then instead of like 400%.
