    I have a PIII 866 with 128 MB RAM and Seagate barracuda HDD running Windows Me. It has Creative PC-DVD drive with DXR3 card. Why is it that a particular DVD plays in the Creative PC-DVD player but not in PowerDVD while others play in both ? Please help. I am confused.

    Hi Everyone,

    I am amazed to see that this topic has not received any reply for 3 days. Normally every topic here gets a response. Is this a difficult one ? Or is it too childish for the techies here ?

    actually, i've wondered this also. some dvds play in win dvd and not play in dvdfrinedly or some crap name. and on stand alone, some of my dvds play on my apex and not on my parents panasonic. strange but i don't know the cause either. someone once told me once that dvd makers still have not worked out all the bugs in the making of the players so there are differences among the various playing devices out there. thats about all i know.
