  1. I used Easy CD Creator 5 to make a VCD but it wont work on my DVD player for some reason... it says VCD right on the front but when I put it in there it doesnt recognize a disk is even there. Is it EASY CD CREATOR or maybe the cds? Im using Fujifilm and Memorex but they dont even start. Help me please

  2. I have yet to get a working vcd with easy cd creator. i take the same file and use it in nero and it works great. I would ditch easy cd and go with nero or vcdimager.

  3. I have had success with Easy CD Creator 5.0 allthough I like Nero better, I just used the wizard to create a VCD and made sure everything was compliant and it worked beautifully.

  4. jumbo,

VCD compatibility does not mean CD-R or CD-RW compatibility. They are two separate things.

You probably have a CD-R/W media compatibility problem. Try burning an audio CD on your media. Does that play?

You will probably have to experiment with different brands of media to find one that works. CD-RW often works better in these cases.

  6. It probably has nothing to do with Nero.

Have you tried playing an audio CD burnt on the same type of media yet? It is most likely a media compatibility problem.
