How is it possible to turn a video file into a divx (1 disk) that I can watch on my tv? This is good! Tell me more...![]()

my source video would be a downloaded avi clip. So, a divx could be burned to disk without changing the format to something else, but there is no dvd players (yet) that will play them?

If you do a 'google' search for APEX and DIVX you will find a ton of rumors that Apex has produced or is planning a DVD player with DIXV support. Since I can't find any anouncements or whitepapers from the APEX people I think it might be a load of crap. (hope I'm wrong tho!

As far as your question goes you will need to convert your Dixv movies (to vcd, svcd, dvd) or invest in a video card with TV outs.
