    I'm converting a Divx file to VCD using TMPGenc and virtualDub as a subtittler server. I extracted the wav file and it's ok. When I encode the file without subtitles, the resul is great, but when I encode it with subs the soun becomes poor (a lot of interruptions in the sound).
    Can someone help me?

    Not done this myself, but I would guess you should not save out the audio until the movie has the subs added. Souns like frames are being added...
