    I hoping someone could give me some information about the 48 > 44.1khz downsampling process.

    Which is better, both speed & quality wise; use DVD2AVI to convert to 44.1khz and encode the result with Tmpgenc, or turn the 48 > 44.1 conversion off in DVD2AVI and let Tmpgenc do the downsampling?

    DVD2AVI is definitely better than TMPGEnc for downsampling. The best solution is to use SSRC.
