Hi all....
i'm having major problems with an avi file i downloaded...
It all started off with it being out of sync originally... it was 29.97 fps and using virtual dub and lots of trial and error found it was perfectly in sync from start to finish at 30.014 fps...
I then used adobe premiere's drop frame feature to convert it back to 29.97 and all is well... a fine working ntsc avi at 29.97 fps still in sync...
But when i convert to mpeg for vcd using tmpgenc it goes out of sync again... I'm using the same framerates... i've tried the whole de-multiplex save to .wav with the right mhz thing and then join the audio and video up again as an .mpg but no luck... i've tried all i can from other similar posts that never seemed to come to any real conclusion so i'm completely stumped...
any suggestions guys? very frustrating ... i've done loads of vcd's before and converting files and changing framerates etc and this is the first i just have no idea about...
thanks
