Is there a program that can add special effects to movies? like explosions and laserbeams? or is there a way to do it in adobe primiere 6?

Being a bit more specific would help. special effects is a very large and complex area, as far as I know there arnt any programs that can "automatically" do special effects. Premier can do them if you know how, keying/transperancies and motion functions are the main means. Adobe AfterEffects is better for this as it has motion tracking functions and is what it is made for. As for how to's, www.theforce.net which is a starwars fan site has some of the best how to guides around for laser, light saber and general special effects. It also has a great number of just general movie making guides check it out
