Anyone Burned +R with Uleads VideoFactory Yet?

It seems that VideoFactory won't burn +R discs.

Has anyone called Ulead's tech support and got an answer as to when a patch will be available?

Same DVD image burns to +RW perfectly, but not to +R.

+R works on the computer though.... just not on my Philips 711, which should read +R.

I've managed to get a DVD+R to work on my Philips 711, using DVD Workshop (which uses the same burning engine as VideoFactory as far as I know) and HP's own DVD+R/RW burning software.

My first attempt resulted in a coaster, this due to the fact that Ulead didn't have DVD+R support at the time. They have since released a DVD+R patch.

How I created the DVD that worked was to write the DVD folders onto my hard disk and then burned these using HP's own software that came with the 200i.

This disk also plays in my panasonic A360 which is almost unbelievable as the A360 has almost always refused to play anything I burned on CD-R/RW.
